Gold remained steady at Rs 75,000 per 10g.On the global front, spot gold at Comex saw a trading value of $2,355 per troy ounce, marking a $12 increase from the previous close. Silver in the international market rose to $28.25 per troy ounce.Escalating tension between Iran and Israel have instilled caution among investors, leading to a heightened demand for safe-haven assets like bullion, according to industry sources.Haresh Acharya, director of the India Bullion and Jewellers’ Association (IBJA), attributes the rise in silver prices to many factors including economic indicators, geopolitical developments and market-specific dynamics. “Silver also has industrial applications.
