SILVER SPRINGS, Nev. (KOLO) – The suspect in a shooting in Silver Springs that injured two people has been arrested.
Stephen Shytle had been on the run from law enforcement since late June.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says Shytle was arrested Monday afternoon around 2:00 p.m. after police acted on a tip. The LCSO says Shytle was arrested in a remote area of Silver Springs, but did not provide more specifics.
Shytle was booked into the Lyon County Jail on two counts of attempted murder and one count of battery with a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm.
His bail was set at $310,000.
