Silver: Stolen Silver worth ₹53L found in Guna, Rajasthan | Bhopal News

Bhopal: Guna police have recovered around 54 kg of stolen silver from a field in Bilakhedi village.The silver, estimated to be worth around Rs 53 lakh, was stolen from a gold and silver shop in Manoharthana town, Rajasthan last month.Acting on a tip-off, Dharnavada police station officials raided the field and unearthed a large cloth bundle containing silver jewellery. An Aadhar card found with the stash belonged to a person named Kapil Agarwal.Manoharthana police confirmed the recovered silver matched the description of items stolen from Bhanwarlal Agarwal’s shop on the night of June 12-13. A theft case against an unknown accused was already registered in Manoharthana.Police are currently investigating to identify the culprits involved in the theft. Their efforts include utilizing their informer network and speaking with villagers in the area. The superintendent of police, Sanjeev Kumar Sinha, lauded the Dharnavada police team for their exceptional work. He called it the biggest property recovery by Guna police in recent times.
