Silver Tribe Media, the management and production venture founded by former CAA agent Michael Klein, is adding to its C-suite.
The company, which specializes in podcast and digital creator deals, development and production, has hired Jen Simons as its chief content officer and Lagen Nash as its chief revenue officer.
Nash joins Silver Tribe from Misfits Gaming Group, where she was chief commercial officer, and will focus on growing revenue, including through media, partnerships, merchandise, and consumer products.
Simons as most recently chief content officer at gaming and lifestyle band 100 Thieves, and previously served as an executive at Barstool Sports. Simons “will consult with talent and partners on the creative process and help build new media networks, as well as lead productions for various clients,” the company says.
Silver Tribe works with creators to develop podcasts and other types of directo-to-consumer digital content, with a particular emphasis on clients with connections to sports and gaming.
“We’re incredibly excited and lucky to be working with Lagen and Jen,” said Klein in a statement. “Jen’s track record of creating & growing podcast & social media audiences translates perfectly to our clients, and Lagen’s ability to grow revenue for digital creators & content makes our ecosystem stronger & more robust.”
“Podcasting and digital media provides a tremendous platform for brands to connect with audiences,” Nash added. “Silver Tribe’s position amongst the leading sports & news digital platforms make it a one-stop shop for partners, as well as a fantastic incubator for talent to create their own consumer products and ecommerce lines.”
“I’m thrilled to be joining Silver Tribe Media in its goal to provide full service to digital media clients & direct-to-consumer businesses,” Simons said. “Silver Tribe created an ecosystem for its clients that will only be made better with more content development & production resources.”
