Release – Sons of Silver take it back to a 1960s esthetic with a high-energy video for their new song “Tell Me This.
The video was produced and directed by David Wolfgang (Miami Ink, Love & Hip-Hop New York) and produced as well as edited by Salvatore Sclafani (TYGER TYGER, Double Cross).
“The video is entirely David Wolfgang’s concept,” said Sons of Silver singer-guitarist Pete Argyropoulos. “We’d been discussing doing a music video together for a while. I approached him with ‘Tell Me This’ and he came back with the idea, in his words, ‘of infusing Sixties Mod album cover art with a Rock ’n’ Roll sound and style of dress.’
“He also wanted clean and colorful cuts and boxes to amplify parts of the greater band while genuinely expressing a sense of relatability and humor,” Argyropoulos said. “To be honest, I didn’t fully know what he meant. But it sounded good. Sal really pulled it all together with a great job of editing.”
Already earning featured spots on Apple Music’s New Rock playlist and Spotify’s New Release Radar, “Tell Me This” is from Sons of Silver’s upcoming new album Runaway Emotions slated for release later this year.
Runaway Emotions is Sons of Silver’s first full-length following a pair of EPs, in 2020 they released Doomsday Noises and in 2022 they delivered Ordinary Sex Appeal. Since their inception, they have garnered three spots on the Billboard Active Rock Chart, and their songs have collectively accumulated over nine million views and streams.
Runaway Emotions will be released through 4L Entertainment and distributed by Universal Music’s Group’s Bungalow label. Self-produced by the group, the record was mixed by renowned producer/engineer Tim Palmer, whose credits include Robert Plant, David Bowie, and U2 to name a few.
