Under an ultra-smooth ride, ‘TDN’ Rising Star Sweet Rebecca (American Pharoah–Sweet n Discreet, by Discreet Cat) took home the Memories of Silver S. at Aqueduct on Sunday afternoon.
Breaking her maiden by a length over the grass at Gulfstream Park Mar. 10 which earned her a ‘Rising Star’ badge, the filly was shifted from Brendan Walsh’s shedrow to Chad Brown when she was purchased by John Stewart’s Resolute Racing.
With Tyler Gaffalione flying into ride, Sweet Rebecca was taken back off the pace and bided her time as Faith Understood (Catholic Boy) showed the way into the first turn. The 1-2 choice cruised along, waited for her cue at the top of the lane and she sailed home a winner over the leader by a length and a half.
The final running time was 1:35.79.
Lifetime Record: 2-2-0-0. Sales History: $250,000 ’22 KEESEP.

SWEET REBECCA ($3.00) looked much the best under @Tyler_Gaff in the $150,000 Memories Of Silver Stakes at Aqueduct. Chad Brown trained the undefeated 3-year-old daughter of @CoolmoreAmerica‘s American Pharoah for owner @rresoluteracing.
