Alexandre Sorel Appointed CEO of Stellantis Financial Services Europe & South America | Corporate Communications


 

AMSTERDAM, March 27, 2024 – Stellantis announces the appointment of Alexandre Sorel as the Chief Executive Officer of Stellantis Financial Services for Europe and South America, effective April 1, 2024. He replaces Remy Bayle, who has decided to retire after a 38-year career with the Company.

Alexandre Sorel, a graduate of the Reims Management School, has spent his entire career in the automotive sector. Within the PSA Peugeot Citroën group since 1994, he held various key finance roles. He joined the banking activities in 2009, and in 2015, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Banque PSA Finance. He played a role in the acquisition of Opel and Vauxhall financing activities in Europe, and he fostered a partnership with BNP Paribas. In 2017, he became the CEO of Opel Vauxhall Finance, and in 2023, he assumed leadership at Stellantis Bank, covering all Stellantis brands in Germany, Austria, and the United Kingdom.
