Nonfarm payrolls rose above expectations as the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported 206,000 new jobs added compared to economist estimates of 190,000. Meanwhile, the tech sector is seeing mixed moves as shares of Meta (META) rise on the growth of the platform Threads and shares of Nvidia (NVDA) dip after being downgraded to Neutral by New Street Research. Other Yahoo Finance trending tickers include Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Apple (AAPL), and Palantir Technologies (PLTR).
