Why you should attend the Open Finance Show 2024


The inaugural Open Finance Show, which is co-located with Open Banking Expo UK and Europe 2024 on 15-16 October, will hear from speakers on digital identity, online gaming and data mobility, spanning geographies including Mexico and the Netherlands.

Visitors to the Open Finance Show, which has launched in partnership with Salt Edge, can expect exclusive sessions and panels that explore the evolution of Open Banking into Open Finance, and consider what the future holds for fintech innovations and regulatory developments.

Ezechi Britton, chief executive officer of the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology (CFIT) will deliver the keynote on Day One of the Open Finance Show 2024, in which he’ll speak about CFIT’s Open Finance Blueprint and taskforce, as well as emerging use cases and proofs of concept.

Elsewhere on the agenda, a Powerhouse Debate on activating digital identity will feature Gareth Narinesingh, identity development director at Open Identity Exchange and Silvia Alidori, innovation and strategy at Lloyds Banking Group.

Andre de Groot, supervisory policy, strategy at De Nederlandsche Bank will deliver a presentation about data mobility in the Netherlands, while BBVA Mexico’s head of Open Banking Alejandro Servin will take part in a Fireside Chat discussing Open Finance in Mexico.

Stephen Winyard, Salt Edge’s chief sales officer, is to take to the stage for a presentation titled ‘Unlocking Open Finance through the world of financial data – understanding the realms of possibility’.

The Smart Data Show is also co-located with Open Banking Expo UK and Europe across both days, while Qualco Live will run at the Business Design Centre in London on 16 October.

Open Finance Show visitors will have comprehensive access to all three co-located events, providing a holistic view of the current and future state of Open Banking, Open Finance and Smart Data.
