New York lawmakers plan to revive a bill extending the deadline for the state’s pass-through entity tax that’s become a top priority for trade groups representing hedge funds and other businesses.
The legislation didn’t make it out of state Assembly or Senate committees earlier this year, but Assemblymember Amy Paulin (D) said in a statement this week that she would “definitely” reintroduce her bill, A8451A, next year with hopes to get it in the state budget plan for fiscal 2026.
