The asset manager started shaping its private markets business in earnest under the leadership of outgoing CEO Peter Harrison, and today it accounts for £66.7bn in assets under management.
Georg Wunderlin, who joined the asset manager to lead the firm’s private markets push in 2019, is now happy with four segments the division developed: private equity, infrastructure, private debt and real estate.
