Dubai property empire of Daniel Kinahan’s wife Caoimhe Robinson revealed in data leak

The information released today show properties were bought in the name of Daniel Kinahan’s wife Caoimhe Robinson.

Even since being sanctioned by the US government in 2020, the Kinahans have been able to buy and sell properties and have continued to make a profit.

The information released today show properties were bought in the name of Daniel Kinahan’s wife Caoimhe Robinson.

The ‘Dubai Unlocked’ investigation by an international consortium of media around the world is co-ordinated by the Norwegian based Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project and includes The Irish Times.

The Kinahan cartel along with Hezbollah financiers, 40 sanction individuals and 60 internationally wanted fugitives have been identified through the data leak.

According to The Irish Times the records show the Kinahans bought at least six properties after moving to Dubai in 2015.

However, many of these were sold off after the sanctions were imposed on members of the Kinahan family as well as four other men and companies linked to them.

These include a villa in the exclusive Emirates Hills development bought for €6.05 million and then sold for €11.7 million the following year, according to The Irish Times.

Another six-bed villa in Parkway Vistas in Robinson’s name was sold for €5.2 million in 2022 while a luxury apartment in the Elite Residences skyscraper went for €1 million.

The office used by Daniel Kinahan in the X3 to where a number of linked companies had been registered is not being used but its sale has been blocked by the authorities.

The investigation has also shown the lax standards that have allowed people to invest in the Dubai property market without having to explain the source of their wealth.

Journalists from the Swedish TV station SVT posed as buyers in Dubai were told: “You can pay in crypto, in cash. No one will ask you where the money comes from.”

Over the past two years, real estate prices in Dubai rose by around 20pc while rents also rose by 25pc last year.

In prime locations such as the Palm Jumeirah they have gone up by 40pc.

The data revealed how Daniel Kinahan’s childhood pal Ian Dixon, also sanctioned by the US, paid €3,000 a month for one property later bought by Robinson.

Dixon is thought to be still in Dubai along with another sanctioned man Sean McGovern who is wanted for murder in Ireland over 2016 fatal shooting of innocent man Noel ‘Duck Egg’ Kirwan.

Christy Kinahan Senior and his two sons Daniel and Christopher Jnr are still wanted by the US authorities who have placed a $5 million bounty on their heads.

Last month it emerged that Christy Kinahan Snr’s partner was still doing business internationally despite the cartel’s leading figures being sanctioned by the United States.

Neslihan ‘Nessy’ Yildirim has been revealed as using business services in India and The Netherlands since the sanctions were imposed in April 2022.

She was previously named as being part of a failed multi-million dollar plan by the cartel to buy Egyptian fleet of second-hand air force cargo planes.

Emails and documents leaked to the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) show how Kinahan Snr, posing as an aviation consultant wanted to buy surplus Buffalo transport aircraft in Egypt.

Daniel Kinahan had launched high-intensity campaign to re-invent himself as a boxing promoter and agent after moving to Dubai.

His bid to sportswash his reputation was destroyed during the multi-agency press conference in Dublin, where the US sanctions against him were announced on April 16, 2022.
