Emergency services rush to Glasgow property as man arrested following ‘disturbance’


Police Scotland have arrested a man following a ‘disturbance’ at a Glasgow property yesterday (July 26).

Emergency services rushed to Glenavon Road at around 7.15pm after receiving reports of an incident in the Summerston area of the city.




A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged by officers in connection with an alleged assault and a breach of the peace offence. He is due to appear in court at a later date.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.15pm on Friday, 26 July, 2024, we were called to a report of a disturbance at a property in Glenavon Road, Glasgow.
