Where Between the hamlets of Alton Barnes and Alton Priors in the Pewsey Vale. It’s about 20 minutes’ drive from the town of Marlborough, while the train from Pewsey to London Paddington takes an hour.
Why The house dates to the 15th century in the oldest parts, with 17th-century additions such as flagstone floors and stone mullioned windows.
