LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – 20 million dollars were allocated towards helping the continuing water issue and improvements in Zapata County.
The funding will help improve the wastewater infrastructure in the county.
A part of this money will also go towards drenching falcon lake near the water pump.
Officials hope this will slowly start filling up the lake. This is not the first time the lake gets this procedure done.
