Swedish private equity company EQT is preparing a number of products for private wealth clients, with CEO Christian Sinding reiterating the group’s commitment to the segment in the firm’s first-quarter results.
The group launched EQT Nexus, its first strategy for individual investors, last May; the fund has a net asset value of more than €600m. The asset manager also set up a private real estate investment trust in the US.
Speaking during the group’s earnings call, Sinding said the firm is preparing additional products with a similar structure to launch in North America, Europe and Asia over the coming 12 to 18 months, focused on ‘our core strength in private equity and infrastructure’.
