Overnight, Russian forces attacked Mykolaiv region with Shahed-type drones, damaging local energy infrastructure.
Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Power outages occurred in 12 settlements; as of now, all consumers have been reconnected. There were no casualties,” the statement said.
At around 2:58, the enemy launched a Shahed drone attack on the city of Mykolaiv. The strike caused a fire at a hardware supermarket, which rescuers have since extinguished. Several buildings at a car service station, two vehicles, and windows in an apartment building were also damaged. No injuries were reported.
As Ukrinform notes, the Russian Federation continues its deliberate terror campaign against civilians, carrying out targeted strikes on civilian infrastructure.
