The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Infrastructure Forum will focus on the theme, ‘Infrastructure for Resilience’. The Forum will discuss how to build resilient infrastructure, address the challenges and opportunities in strengthening resilience, and explore strategies that transcend traditional boundaries and across governments.
The Forum will bring together policymakers and infrastructure and other stakeholders to share innovative ideas, best practices, and cutting-edge solutions to support resilient infrastructure. The Forum aims to shape a resilient future that can both withstand today’s challenges and anticipate and adapt to tomorrow’s complex demands.
OECD will launch a flagship report, ‘Infrastructure for a Resilient Future,’ at the Forum. The report outlines steps countries can take to improve the climate resilience of their infrastructure, including through climate adaptation, nature-based solutions (NbS), and planning and financing.
