Greenhill Nabs Citigroup’s Transport Infrastructure Head Summers

(Bloomberg) — Citigroup Inc.’s head of transportation infrastructure investment banking, Steven Summers, resigned to join Greenhill, a person with knowledge of the matter said.

Summers, who is based in Los Angeles, is set to join Greenhill after a period of gardening leave and will report to Kevin Costantino, according to the person, who requested anonymity to discuss confidential information.

A Citigroup spokesman declined to comment. Greenhill didn’t immediately have a comment.

Summers has worked at New York-based Citigroup since 2007, according to his LinkedIn profile. He advised on transactions including the public-private partnership of JFK Airport’s “New Terminal One” and on Carlyle Group Inc.’s subsequent stake sale in the terminal to Ferrovial. He also worked on the initial public offering of Corporación América Airports and on the sale of an Airports Worldwide portfolio to Vinci Airports.

In December, Mizuho Americas completed its acquisition of Greenhill, and said it will maintain the Greenhill brand.
