Lenovo launches AI-centric infrastructure to drive hybrid AI innovation


Lenovo Group has announced a comprehensive new suite of purpose-built AI-centric infrastructure systems and solutions to advance Hybrid AI innovation from edge to cloud. This initiative, according to the multinational technology firm, is aimed at providing GPU-heavy and thermally efficient solutions meant for compute-intensive workloads across various environments and sectors.

In industries such as financial services and healthcare, where management of enormous data sets requiring extreme input/output bandwidth is crucial, Lenovo aims to provide the necessary IT infrastructure solutions to handle this critical data. The company’s TruScale is poised to offer unmatched flexibility and support, ensuring seamless integration of demanding AI workloads as-a-service. With the added support of Lenovo Professional Services, businesses can navigate the AI landscape with ease, adapting to the evolving needs of AI-driven enterprises.

Amit Luthra, Managing Director – India, Lenovo ISG, emphasised that Lenovo is leading the way in transformative intelligence. The ThinkSystem SR685a V3 8GPU server, released in collaboration with AMD, harnesses the power of the AMD MI300X 8-GPU server for extreme performance on the most compute-demanding AI workloads. The solution gives businesses quick acceleration, ample memory, and a robust input/output bandwidth to manage vast data sets.

Jagadeesh Venugopal, Chief Operating Officer, Pappaya Cloud, shared his excitement about the potential of the server in meeting current and future AI workload requirements. Commending the advanced capabilities of the SR685a V3, he reinforced the important role of AI workloads for customers globally.

Moreover, Lenovo’s ThinkAgile MX455 V3 Edge Premier Solution offers rapid scalability, reduced total cost of ownership, and enriched customer experience. It integrates seamlessly with on-premises and Azure cloud environments, ideal for sectors including retail, manufacturing, and healthcare.

Furthermore, another server designed by Lenovo and AMD, ThinkSystem SD535 V3, aims to balance performance and thermal efficiency for compute-intensive workloads.
