Redwheel hires team behind failed ThomasLloyd infrastructure trust

Redwheel has hired three former managers of the now closed ThomasLloyd Energy Impact Trust (TLEI), which was involved in significant controversy over spiralling costs on an Indian solar project.

Joining Redwheel is Nandita Sahgal, who led TLEI’s investment team, alongside James Kinsbrook and Raviraj Salecha, who also worked on the trust.

The trio will work on the Redwheel EM Impact Opportunities fund, a private markets strategy focused on infrastructure that is set to launch in the coming months, pending regulatory approval and adequate fundraising.
