Russian drones strike outskirts of Sumy, infrastructure damaged


A massive Russian drone attack on the Sumy community caused damage to infrastructure facilities.

Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy community, announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“The enemy carried out a massive drone strike on the outskirts of the Sumy community. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties,” Hryhorov wrote.

He noted that infrastructure facilities were damaged and emergency services are currently working at the scene.

The head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Serhii Kryvosheienko, later added: “The enemy attacked the outskirts of Sumy with drones. Emergency crews are working to address the damage to an infrastructure facility.”

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties, he said.
