Russian forces strike energy, transport infrastructure in Chernihiv region


Early on November 7, Russian forces struck energy and transport infrastructure in two communities in the Chernihiv region.

Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“This morning, the enemy struck energy and transport infrastructure in the Horodnia and Bakhmach communities,” Chaus said.

He noted that over the past day, Russian forces fired 71 shells at border areas of the region, with 121 explosions recorded.

A drone strike hit the territory of an agricultural enterprise in the Semenivka community, damaging equipment. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian forces attacked an energy facility in a border community of the Chernihiv district, causing a fire.
