Russia attacked an infrastructure facility in Poltava Oblast with Shahed kamikaze drones, Poltava regional governor Filip Pronin reported on Telegram on Feb. 18.
This caused a fire, which has already been extinguished. Pronin added that there were no casualties or injuries.

On Feb, 17, an air alert was declared in several oblasts of Ukraine due to the threat of a new Russian attack.
The occupiers launched three missiles on Kramatorsk, and shelled Sloviansk with artillery. In Kramatorsk, the industrial zone and the private sector were damaged, and in Sloviansk a shell hit a school.
The Air Force reported the destruction of 12 suicide drones and one X-59 guided missile over Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kirovohrad, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.
Apart from missiles and drones on the morning of Feb. 18, the Ukrainian Defense Forces also destroyed one Russian Su-34 fighter jet.
