According to CEO Tjark de Vries of Strukton Rail, the public transport sector has the potential to transform the energy infrastructure, which is desperately needed. The Netherlands is heading towards regular and large-scale blackouts. By using the Dutch public transport networks for multiple purposes, these alarming power outages can be partially prevented.
