The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has carried out another successful cyber attack and destroyed the entire IT infrastructure of the company IPL Consulting, which specialized in implementing information systems in the Russian industry.
This information is reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The company presented itself as one of the most modern Russian enterprises, providing assistance in the implementation of information systems to institutions involved in the design and production of automotive and aviation components, heavy machinery manufacturing, equipment and instrument production, particularly in the interests of the Russian defense-industrial complex.
The destructive attack against IPL Consulting was conducted by experts from the Main Intelligence Directorate, who infiltrated the company’s internal network and obliterated its entire IT infrastructure, totaling over 60 terabytes, including dozens of servers and databases.
