Justin Timberlake’s $2 million loss after selling Tennessee property

Justin Timberlake has reportedly sold his 127-acre property in Tennessee for $2 million less than the asking price just weeks before his surprising drunk driving arrest. The 43-year-old singer listed the Leipers Fork estate, located about 20 miles outside Nashville, for $10 million last summer.

According to RadarOnline.com, the property boasts horseback riding trails, pastures, and mountain views. Shortly after putting the estate on the market, Timberlake announced his first tour in five years, set to begin in April.

The Forget Tomorrow World Tour initially saw strong sales, with 21 shows selling out within the first week. However, ticket sales slowed significantly over time.

As of Thursday, no upcoming tour dates were sold out, with thousands of tickets still available for concerts in the United States.

The U.S. Sun reported that court documents revealed Timberlake sold the Tennessee estate for $8 million in May. Despite the $2 million reduction from the asking price, Timberlake still made a profit, having purchased the property for $4 million in 2015.

Meanwhile, according to Architectural Digest, he sold the Hollywood Hills home he shared with his wife, Jessica Biel, for $35 million in 2021, and sold their Tribeca penthouse for $21 million the following year.

Set to appear in court

The sale of his Tennessee home occurred just weeks before Timberlake‘s arrest in The Hamptons on a DWI charge.

As previously reported, Timberlake was handcuffed after being stopped for allegedly running a stop sign on a Monday night. He refused a breathalyzer test but admitted to having a martini while out with friends, according to officials.

Police noted signs of intoxication, such as “bloodshot and glassy” eyes and “slowed speech.” Timberlake is scheduled to appear virtually in court on July 26 to address the drunk driving charge.
