Man found dead at property in Swansea


The Coroner’s Office is appealing to find the next of kin for an American man who died while living in Swansea. Bruce Alan Phelps had lived in the UK for around 12 years and died aged 67 on Monday, October 14.

Mr Phelps lived on Dyfed Avenue in Townhill, Swansea, at the time of his death. A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “The Coroner’s Office is appealing to find next of kin for Mr Bruce Alan Phelps, of Dyfed Avenue, Townhill, Swansea.

“Mr Phelps, an American citizen who had lived in the UK for around 12 years, passed away at the age of 67 on Monday, October 14. Anyone with any information should phone the Coroner’s Office on 01792 450650.” For the latest Swansea news, sign up to our newsletter here
