A semi-detached home in Ballyhaunis has sold for €215,000, a price described by estate agents APP Kirrane as a record high for a local housing estate dwelling.
The house, in the Old Racecourse estate on the Knock Road, sold very quickly to a local buyer, said estate agent Kevin Kirrane.
He puts the high price down to a high building quality – “blocked walls rather than partitions upstairs” – and the small scale of the estate.
