Police have launched a murder probe after a woman was found dead in west London after an alleged ‘disturbance’ at a property.
Cops charged a 50-year-old man with murder after they were called to a house in Perivale, Ealing, on Friday.
Mugurel Nica will appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Police aren’t looking for anyone else in connection with the death.
Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service at around 1.40am.
Emergency services worked to save 45-year-old Ana Maria Murariu.
But despite their best efforts, she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of death hasn’t been reported yet, and a special post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
Detective Inspector Richard Kempshall, from Specialist Crime, said: ‘We are continuing to support Ana Maria’s family at this difficult time and our thoughts remain with them.
‘We are not actively seeking anyone else in connection with this investigation.’
