New property partner for Nelsons

An experienced property litigator has joined law firm Nelsons to work in its dispute resolution team.

Chris Chan has joined as partner from Roythornes, where he was senior associate and has previously worked for Knights and Fraser Brown, as well as spending time as in-house senior legal counsel.

He said: “My move to Nelsons is a positive step in my career, giving me great scope to develop. It’s also an exciting time for the firm, having become part of Lawfront and a strong period of growth over the past year and I’m proud to become part of this journey.

“I knew of the talented dispute resolution team and the great clients at Nelsons, so I am looking forward to helping to support existing clients as well as introducing some new ones.”

Daniel Brumpton, partner and head of commercial litigation said: “It’s great to welcome Chris into the dispute resolution team; he will play an important role in our work across the Nottingham property market working closely with Simon Waterfield and the team as we look to expand into this core area.

“Chris’s reputation and experience of property litigation makes him a vital asset to this part of our service and something we were keen to bring in to help us support the volume of clients we are experiencing.”
