Police appeal for information following wilful fire-raising at Larkhall property


Police are appealing for information following a wilful fire-raising at a property in the Thistle Crescent area of Larkhall.

The incident happened around 10.45pm on Monday, May 13, when a car was deliberately set on fire.




Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and officers are keen to speak to a man wearing dark clothing seen in the Albert Drive area at the time.

Police Constable Alexander O’Rourke said: “We are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch and also to check private CCTV and dash-cams to see if they have captured information that could help with our investigation.

“If you can help please contact us on 101, quoting incident number 4438 of Friday, 13 May, 2024, or make a call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
