Police probe ‘unexplained’ death of man in property in Edinburgh


Police have launched an investigation after the “unexplained” death of a man at a property in Edinburgh.

Officers responded to reports of the death of a man at a property in Sandilands Close on Friday.

Police said the 52-year-old man’s death is being treated as “unexplained”.

The force confirmed that enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the death of a 52-year-old man at a property in Sandilands Close, Edinburgh, on Friday, March 8.

“The death is being treated as unexplained, but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
