Officers from the local policing community team have been granted a closure order for the address on Vicarage Road, in Haydock.
Police say this is due to reports of anti-social behaviour, serious violence and drug use over a 12-month period.
The closure was issued by Sefton Magistrates’ Court for a period of three months.
In a statement, Merseyside Police said “Officers worked with Riverside Housing to gain evidence to support the closure which will hopefully give the local residents some peace in the local area for the next few months.”

A statement from Riverside Housing, shared by police, added: “Customer safety is an important priority for Riverside and so is listening to customers and acting on their feedback. In this case, we’ve done exactly that.
“Our dedicated and professional customer safety team worked closely with the police to protect our customer and secure this closure order. We know it has been a very difficult time for the customers affected by this situation and we hope the decision of the court will bring them some peace.
“Riverside will continue to pursue tenancy enforcement action against this tenant to ensure they can not return to their property after closure expires.”
