Police swoop on Edinburgh property following ‘disturbance’ as man arrested


Police swooped on an Edinburgh property following reports of a disturbance as a young man was arrested.

Several police vehicles were spotted outside a block of flats on Peffermill Road on Saturday morning, February 10. Police were called to an alleged disturbance at a property and a 21-year-old man was arrested.



As the Record reports, the alarm was raised at around 8.50am in the morning as officers were also standing guard outside a block of flats for several hours.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.50am on Saturday, 10 February, 2024, officers were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance in the Peffermill Road area of Edinburgh.
