10 most expensive homes sold, Feb. 17-23


A house in Kirkland that sold for $1.2 million tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Oneida County in the past week.

In total, 35 residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past week, with an average price of $231,906, $148 per square foot.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Feb. 17 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $225K, single-family house at 28 Leard Road

A sale has been finalized for the single-family residence at 28 Leard Road in New Hartford. The price was $225,000 and the new owners took over the house in January. The house was built in 1952 and the living area totals 1,260 square feet. The price per square foot ended up at $179. The deal was finalized on Jan. 31.

9. $229K, single-family residence at 23 Mulberry Street

The property at 23 Mulberry Street in Kirkland has new owners. The price was $229,000. The house was built in 1850 and has a living area of 1,708 square feet. The price per square foot is $134. The deal was finalized on Feb. 1.

8. $250K, single-family home at 9694 State Dam Road
