A neglected inner west home in Sydney has hopes of $1.4m plus.


An inner west dump left in a state of neglect for years has hit the market with hopes of $1.4m.

The former hoarder home, at 181 Denison Rd, Dulwich Hill, has been on the market for just days with strong interest from builders along with buyers keen on diving into their first real estate project.

Agent William Pereira, from Adrian William Real Estate, said the home was on a 215 sqm block tightly held by the same family for many years.

“It has been cleaned out by the family, however left in its current state.

“Since it went live a few days ago, I have been getting a lot of calls from builders and first project builders. It’s in a really popular location.”

Mr Pereira said the house was “solid”, despite sales images revealing holes in the floor, peeling paint and other damages.

The home has a price guide of $1.4m.


The home is already attracting strong interest from builders.

“The floors are damaged in the living room but everywhere else is pretty good,” he said.

“For $250K-$300K, you could turn it into a nice house.”

The home will go to auction on February 10, with the listing describing it as having “pure renovation potential in enviable position”.
