play

The median sales price of a home in central Indiana reached an all-time high of $320,000 this June, according to the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors. Last month it fell to $305,000, signaling a market shift in favor of buyers that’s likely to accelerate through September.

But those who bought the five homes on this list probably aren’t worried about median sales price.

From a 21,000-square-foot estate with 16 bathrooms and an outdoor tennis court to a mansion with waterfront views, here are five of the most expensive homes sold in the Indianapolis metro area so far in 2024.

$4.25 million home on Williams Creek

This $4.25 million home, perched on a woodsy two-acre parcel along Williams Creek, is one of the most expensive homes sold in Indianapolis this year, according to Zillow listings.

Built in 1960, the stately home on High Drive in north Indianapolis sold June 28, according to Zillow. The house features 5,920 square feet, five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The backyard has a pool and a firepit surrounded by views of a verdant ravine.

$3.2 million Meridian Hills estate

Built in 1940, the Tudor style home is the second-oldest property on this list. It sold for more than $3.2 million on April 15.

Set on nearly three acres, the property was designed to entertain on a grand scale. There are formal gardens, a swimming pool and a tennis court. There’s a private guest apartment and enough garage space for nine cars.
