James Caserio joins Jones Day as Partner in Firm’s Real Estate Practice


The global law firm Jones Day announced today that James Caserio has joined the Firm as a Partner in its Real Estate Practice. Mr. Caserio is based in Jones Day’s Chicago Office.

Mr. Caserio regularly advises clients in connection with complex commercial real estate transactions, real estate finance, joint ventures, development projects, loan restructurings and workouts. He has wide-ranging experience with the acquisition and disposition of multi-family, student housing, active adult housing, single family rental, retail, mixed-use, office and hotel properties. Mr. Caserio represents institutional investors, public and private real estate companies, REITs, developers, retailers, hedge funds, other investment funds and financial institutions.

At Jones Day, Mr. Caserio joins a global team of 120 lawyers in Jones Day’s Real Estate Practice, who provide clients with comprehensive legal advice with respect to business opportunities by drawing on their experience in the real estate industry worldwide and collaborating with their Jones Day colleagues in environmental law, tax law, financial services, corporate law and dispute resolution. Jones Day’s Real Estate clients include investment banks, real estate funds, institutional investors, lenders, major corporations, real estate developers, property management companies, retailers, and hospitality companies.
