@properties Christie’s International Real Estate Hires Third-Generation Real Estate Pro Eric Eversgerd

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate has added Managing Broker and Agent Mentor Eric Eversgerd to its ranks.

Capitalizing on years of growth and expansion across DFW and Texas, @properties Christie’s International Real Estate is strengthening its leadership team with the addition of Managing Broker and Agent Mentor Eric Eversgerd.

Having spent seven years at Coldwell Banker and served on numerous boards, including the MetroTex Association of REALTORS, Eversgerd brings a wealth of experience to the role at @properties Christie’s. He’s a third-generation Realtor and has been around the business practically his entire life. As Managing Broker, he will oversee agent recruitment, provide strategic guidance, agent coaching, and lead the team towards continued success in serving clients throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

“As a kid, I grew up doing odd jobs for my grandfather who owned his own brokerage,” said Eversgerd. “I’d help him get houses ready to sell and things of that nature. My father got his real estate license as well. Being in this business just came naturally to me. Following in their footsteps, I acquired my real estate license and broker’s license some years ago.”

Eversgerd then went a step further and acquired his Certified Real Estate Broker Manager (CRB). He found his strength in being a mentor and coach for other agents while helping them grow their business.

I’ve been really involved in the real estate market and community for the last seven years,” Eversgerd said “That really helps me support the agents I work with to better themselves and build strong client relationships.”

For @properties Christie’s, Eversgerd is excited to bring his unique experience as a mentor and broker to help the organization as it continues serving Dallas homebuyers and sellers. @properties Christie’s continues to grow into a major player in the DFW and Austin luxury real estate markets including the launch of a Land + Ranch division in mid-2023, a Sports & Entertainment division in January 2024, and, most recently, their Developer Services Division in February 2024.

Helmed by Jerry Mooty Jr., @properties Christie’s International Real Estate is growing at an unprecedented rate.

“Many agents may not realize how emotional this process can be for a client,” said Eversgerd. “They also may not understand the immense impact they can make on people’s lives. I want to help them find that perspective and use it to create real success stories with our clients. That’s where it becomes very rewarding for me.”

Of course, having someone with Eversgard’s expertise and experience will be a real asset as the market evolves. He’s optimistic that conditions will continue to improve in 2024 and usher in a new wave of business. Following a rather hectic four years, the housing market may finally find its equilibrium in 2024. With historic prices somewhat stabilized and interest rates on their way down, some experts predict this year will bring plenty of prospective buyers into the market. Of course, this means agents, Realtors, and brokers should be on their best game to capitalize on the influx of clientele and create lasting relationships with new buyers and sellers.

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate recognized this need early and has staffed up with a strategic hire in Eric Eversgerd, its new Managing Broker.

“I’m kind of in the camp that’s predicting a slow, steady growth market,” said Eversgerd. “I think we’ll see something more in line with what Dallas has historically experienced pre-COVID. Of course, this will create great opportunities for well-trained agents to support their clients by showing them a range of homes and keeping the ball rolling.”

As for Eversgerd, he’ll be right there to lend his lifetime of knowledge at @properties Christie’s.

“I’m really excited about all the opportunities @properties Christie’s has in front of it,” said Eversgerd. “I’m also impressed with the positivity of the support staff and the way we’re positioning ourselves to meet the market in an impactful way.”
