Real Estate: Rural Clark County property sells for $1.77M


Clark County real estate transactions recorded May 31 – June 13, 2024, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names.

The largest transaction over the past two weeks was the $1.77 million sale of 650 acres of mixed timber and pasture at 1027 Boswell Road, between Okolona and Hollywood. The John M Hobgood Trust sold the property, which includes Boswell Lake and a 1,724-SF single-family dwelling, to B2 Land & Cattle LLC.

Thomas Herron bought a 1,829-SF brick home and 46 acres of pasture for $415,000. The property at the 5000 block of state Highway 26 West, near Antoine, had belonged to Susan and Michael Butler.

Craig and Robin Hamilton sold their 3,026-SF frame siding home on Timber Ridge Circle, Arkadelphia, to Kiley and Molly Hill for $385,000.

For $360,000 Jennifer Bartlett and Kenneth Taylor bought a 3,240-SF brick home at the 400 block of North Park Drive, Arkadelphia. Previous owners Christopher and Sandy Campbell bought the property in 2005 for $216,000.

James and Roya Lloyd sold their Forrest Park home. Debra Licardo bought the Arkadelphia property for $329,500. The Lloyds bought the 1,761-SF brick-and-frame home in 2006 for $186,000.

Chad Jones and Claire Thomas bought a 2,304-SF brick home at Evonshire Drive, Arkadelphia, for $270,000. Previous owners David and Kelci Martinez bought the property in 2019 for $170,000.

For $265,000 River Melugin and Hannah Dykes bought a 2,196-SF frame siding home and adjacent lot at the 1000 block of Evergreen Drive, Arkadelphia. Previous owner William Hunt bought the property in 2022 for $290,000.

Agnes Stone and LeeAnn Boogs bought a 1,728-SF brick home at the 900 block of South 21st Street, Arkadelphia, for $190,000. The property last sold in 2011 to James Zeagler Revocable Trust, et al, for $125,000.

For $185,000 Chandler Walker bought a 2,470-SF home and 2 acres at the 1400 block of Red Springs Road. Previous owners James and Shirley Barker bought the place for $51,000 in 1990.

Michael and Nancy Lloyd sold their 1,092-SF brick home at the 300 block of Druid Hills, Arkadelphia, for $102,000 to new owners James and Stephanie Ward. The Lloyds bought the property in 1995 for $44,000.

Donald and Kathleen Kelly bought a 1,808-SF frame siding duplex at 1028 S. 11th St., Arkadelphia, for $100,750. The duplex was part of a $1.35 million property buy in 2023 by Riveter Investment Properties LLC.
