Real Estate will release their new album Daniel on February 23, and they’ve just shared its second single. “‘Haunted World’ sounds like a 90s sitcom theme to us. Network execs – this song is available and we are ready and willing to sell to the highest bidder,” says singer/guitarist Martin Courtney. “We’re super happy with how this one turned out. We had a nice arrangement worked out before we headed to Nashville to record, but it really came to life in the studio. Sometimes a song will surprise you like that.” You can wat the video below.
Real Estate have announced they will celebrate Daniel‘s release with a very intimate Brooklyn show at Union Pool on February 22. Admission is free with RSVP but there’s a catch: the show is “Daniels Only,” meaning “guests must have a first, middle or last name of Daniel (Dan, Danielle, Danny, Daniella, Danielson, etc)” to enter. Daniels will be allowed to bring a non-Daniel +1, though. The band notes: space is limited, first come, first serve.
Daniels and non-Daniels can catch Real Estate on their spring tour which hits NYC’s Webster Hall on April 18 with Marina Allen. All dates are listed below.
