Russian invaders are stealing the property of civilians in the temporarily occupied part of the Kharkiv region.

The Rozvidka noem Telegram channel published the video.

The published footage, taken in Vovchansk, captures a large group of looters taking loot from a private house and loading it into a UAZ-3303 truck.

A part of Vovchansk is temporarily under the control of the Russian soldiers, and heavy fighting is taking place for the town with the use of armored vehicles, artillery systems, drones, and aircraft.

It was reported that Ukrainian aviation launched a powerful strike on the building of the central district hospital in Vovchansk, where the assault units of the Russian troops were based, trying to capture this Ukrainian city.

Based on the accuracy of the hit, the aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force used high-precision bombs that Ukraine received from its Western partners as military assistance to counter the Russian invasion.

These could be US JDAMs or French AASM 250 HAMMERs, adapted for use by Ukrainian aviation.

Battles for the Kharkiv region

The beginning of the Russian assault, although relatively quick, was partially stopped by Ukrainian Defense Forces units that were sent to this sector.

Thanks to the prompt actions of Ukrainian defenders, some units were defeated and Russian soldiers were captured to be exchanged for Ukrainian soldiers in the future.

So far, the Russian offensive has not made significant progress. Battles for individual settlements in the border area and urban battles in Vovchansk continue, where the Russian invaders are trying to gain a foothold.

On May 17, Militarnyi reported that volunteer soldiers of the Russian Volunteer Corps demonstrated the combat performance of a trophy BTR-82A armored personnel carrier against the Russian invaders in Vovchansk.

The released footage shows an APC maneuvering through the streets of the settlement and firing a 30-mm 2A72 autocannon at the meat processing plant where the Russian soldiers were trying to gain a foothold.
