According to nearby residents, Thames Valley Police arrived at Peppard War Memorial Hall around 4:30 pm where they changed into riot gear before driving to a property on Shiplake Bottom Road.
Pictures from the scene today showed a riot van including numerous police vehicles outside the property.
Police were seen clearing the scene around 8 pm as they made their way back to the Memorial Hall car park.
A nearby resident said: “It was quite shocking. The police drove into the car park opposite our house around 4:40pm and started changing into their suits and disappeared down the road.”
At 9 pm, a police car, a police van and around 6 officers were stationed at the Peppard War Memorial Hall car park where they appeared to be packing up to leave.
