The South East is set to have a major presence at the UK’s third annual Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) in Leeds this May.
Organisers will welcome both domestic and international investors, developers, and built environment thought leaders as they work together to help encourage investment into the UK and create jobs.
The public sector is also represented, with many of the South East’s county and district council’s set to attend alongside representatives from national government.
Brett North, chairman and chief executive of the Gatwick Diamond Initiative, said: “Real estate and infrastructure play a critical role in regional development.

“That’s why we’re seizing this opportunity at UKREiiF to highlight our region’s unique selling points and its rich investment potential.
“We have so much to be proud of here in the Gatwick Diamond, and we’re committed to meeting and partnering with likeminded organisations throughout the world.”
The three-day event will feature more than 700 speakers across 30 stages. Since 2022 it’s grown from 3,500 attendees to an anticipated 12,000 this year.
Alastair Campbell, former director of communications for No. 10 Downing Street, added: “UKREiiF brings together all the different parts of the equation that are needed to regenerate regions and the economy successfully.
“And it’s changing people’s views of the industry world.”
