A total of seven property sales were registered in Clayton, Openshaw, and Beswick during April, according to the official record kept by the Land Registry. The properties ranged from a £87,000 flat on Stillwater Drive, to a house on Vine Street which fetched £415,000.

The average house price in the M11 postcode district covering Clayton, Openshaw, and Beswick was £180,528 in the 12 months to March 2024.




That is a decrease of 1.1 per cent compared to the previous 12 months, meaning the average house value went down by £2,035 over the last year. The number of property sales in the M11 area dropped by nearly a half from 165 in the year to March 2023, falling to just 83 in the last twelve months.
