Accord Asset Partners has completed the previously announced sale of its majority equity interest in DME Express to Palladium Equity Partners. The transaction, which closed on March 25, 2026, marks Palladium’s second investment in the hospice sector and its second platform investment through Palladium Equity Partners VI. CEO Mark Borneleit and his leadership team will continue running the business as Palladium partners with them to support the company’s next phase of growth.
DME Express serves hospice providers and patients across nine states through a network of more than 70 warehouse locations. The company delivers a broad suite of durable medical equipment—including beds, respiratory devices and mobility equipment—under recurring per‑patient‑day contractual arrangements. Founded by Accord over a decade ago, DME Express has grown into a mission‑critical provider at the intersection of healthcare delivery and logistics.
Accord’s exit follows more than 12 years of partnership with Borneleit in building and scaling the business. Palladium plans to support DME Express in expanding its geographic footprint, enhancing service capabilities and pursuing strategic acquisitions to better serve hospice providers nationwide.
