Ian Glasner will be leaving his role as group head of emerging technology, innovation and ventures at financial services bank HSBC at the end of July.

Speaking of his role in the LinkedIn post announcing his departure, Glasner shared, “I led HSBC’s firmwide agenda across AI, digital assets, quantum, technology partnerships, and venture investing… we built HSBC’s first enterprise AI strategy and platform… Beyond AI, we helped shape the bank’s digital asset and currency strategy, advanced its quantum cybersecurity agenda, and invested in enterprise software and fintech companies building the infrastructure of future financial services.”
