People moves for the week ending May 22


Institutional asset managers are building out teams to offer private markets exposure to more clients, based on recent hires announced this past week. StepStone hired a BlackRock alum to lead its push into U.S. defined contribution plans, while Mercer added three to its investment platform with private debt, infrastructure and real estate experience.

On the wealth side, Fiduciary Trust Company and Manulife Wealth & Asset Management each named senior leaders to expand their investment platforms.
