Dior Joaillerie Unveils Diorissima

At the heart of Dior Joaillerie, Christian Dior’s inventive creative vision is reimagined through a collection that blurs the line between fantasy and fine craftsmanship. Since 1999, Victoire de Castellane has explored the poetic and narrative dimensions of the House’s singular heritage, continuously reinterpreting it with striking audacity and imagination. This year, the artistic director unveils Diorissima, an unprecedented high jewelry collection paying homage to both the House of Dior and Venice, La Serenissima, where it debuts this May.

Diorissima Jardin Pop Earrings: Pink gold, diamonds, rhodolite, spessartite and tsavorite garnets, pink and yellow sapphires, turquoises, lacquered mother-of-pearl and lacquer.

Diorissima Poppink Necklace: Pink gold, white diamonds, pink and yellow sapphires, and pink lacquer.

Conceived as a dreamlike triptych, Diorissima unfolds across three extraordinary worlds that flow seamlessly from lush greenery to aquatic depths and, finally, to celestial constellations. The collection reflects Monsieur Dior’s enduring fascination with the rich diversity of life, from flora and fauna to the mystical and otherworldly. Through whimsical juxtapositions of gemstones, unexpected cutouts, vibrant colors, and layered shapes, Victoire de Castellane celebrates the art of collage while honoring the artists admired by Dior himself, from Matisse to Picasso.

Diorigami Paper Bloom Necklace: White gold, diamonds, sapphires, black opals and emeralds.

Diorissima Nuage Hereaux Earrings: White and yellow gold, diamonds, yellow sapphires and white opal on turquoise doublets.

Fantastical cabinets of curiosities emerge throughout the collection: the first, abundant with verdant plant life, is adorned with clover, cascading wisteria, and bunches of fruit; the second immerses itself in fluid aquatic landscapes illuminated by scintillating shades of blue, where fish and coral drift among seaweed and bubbles. The final celestial realm captivates with radiant suns, mesmerizing eclipses, and “happy” clouds, all brought to life through unexpected gemstone pairings. Across 141 creations, including necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets, earcuffs, and brooches, with 112 unveiled in the first chapter, each composition reveals remarkable depth and luminous vibrancy through daring gemstone associations and imaginative design.
